How to register offers

All managed fund offers under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (FMC Act) must be registered online, using the Disclose Register. This can be done either by the manager or a third party acting on their behalf.

The registration process

This section covers the process for registering an offer on the Disclose Register. Note | You can save an application part way through and return to complete it. For an offer to be registered on the date it’s submitted, the Registrar must receive the correctly completed application before 3pm NZT (business days).

The acceptance process

For your offer to be registered on the date it’s submitted, the Registrar must receive your correctly completed application before 3pm NZT (business days). When an offer is received, the Registrar may accept, request more information about it or reject your application. If the Registrar receives your application before 3pm NZT (business days), you should receive notification of the decision the same day.
