Bigger tools for small businesses has launched a set of five new tools and resources on its website, focused on helping small businesses improve their operations strategy and improve their productivity.

These resources are the latest created in partnership with the global experts on the New Zealand Business Performance Panel, which was established a year ago. Since that time, more than 60,000 Kiwi businesses have used these resources, and interest continues to grow.

This Panel was established to improve New Zealand's productivity by helping Kiwi small businesses adopt global best management practices. The latest set of tools is the third co-developed with the Panel, to support small businesses at key points of their development journey and help them with productivity.

Small Business Minister Stuart Nash announced the new tools last week. "Small businesses are incredibly busy. They tell us that they want to achieve more without having to work longer hours. That's why productivity is important to us.

"International experts like the OECD have said that one of the best ways to lift productivity is to help businesses adopt best management practices. This is why we set up the Panel."

More resources from and the Panel to help Kiwi businesses are expected over the next year.
