Updating officers' details for your building society
How to advise us of changes
You must let us know if there are any changes to your society’s officers (including the manager, secretary or any of the directors). Update the register within one month of the change.
The information you need to provide
For each change you need to let us know:
- the full name and address of the person, and
- details of the office that they have taken or relinquished.
For new appointments you must also confirm their appointment date.
How to change these details online
You will need:
- a RealMe® login, and
- confirmed authority with us to update this building society.
If it is your first time updating details for a building society, you will be prompted for information to set up an online account with us.

Step by step
- Log in using your RealMe login.
- Select 'Authorities' from the menu.
- Choose your building society from the list.
- Select ‘Edit Entity’.
- Update the officer details that have changed.
- Add new officers
- Remove officers, or
- Edit an officer’s address details.
- Submit your change.
The register will be updated immediately with the changes you have submitted.
