Code of Residents’ Rights
The basic rights given to residents by the Retirement Villages Act 2003 (the Act)
The Code of Residents’ Rights set out in Schedule 4 of the Act contains the minimum rights given to residents by the Act.
The operator must give residents a copy of the Code of Residents’ Rights before a resident enters into an occupation right agreement and on request from a resident.
