Lodging an amended climate statement or exemption notice

Amending a lodgement after it has been accepted for registration

If you’ve lodged a climate statement or exemption notice and need to amend it, you can lodge amended documents on the Climate-related Disclosures Register.

On this page:

Who can lodge an amendment

  1. A CRE can authorise at least 2 people within their own organisation to lodge its climate statements and exemption notices (including any amendments), or
  2. A CRE can authorise a third-party organisation to act on its behalf. That third-party will in turn authorise at least 2 people within their organisation to lodge climate statements or exemption notices on behalf of the CRE (including any amendments).

No matter which option you choose we will need to set up an online services account for the register. We’ll also need to set up logins for each person authorised to lodge climate statements, exemption notices and amendments.

What you need to provide

To lodge an amendment, you’ll need to upload a copy of the amended climate statement or exemption notice.

  • You can upload one or more documents.
  • Documents must be PDF files and be less than 20MB.
  • The file names you choose will be displayed on the public register so they should accurately describe the document you're uploading.

There are no fees to pay when lodging an amendment.
