Our new online system is live

As part of a broader technology upgrade project, we have moved the Building Societies Register to a new and improved online platform. This change is designed to modernise our registers and improve your experience.

What has changed

We have introduced some new online services. For example, you can:

  • Update some of your society’s details online, such as updating its email or postal address and officer details.
  • Submit other applications and updates by uploading documents directly to the register.
  • Make all payments online.

To get started you need to set up an online account

To register a new society or update details on the register for an existing one, you need an online account. If you need to update an existing society you will need to confirm your authority with us beforehand.

To get started you must have a RealMe® login (you do not need to have a RealMe verified identity).
